God has sent them strong delusion that they would believe a lie.

Because they have departed from the faith, "having loved this present world"
Where good is evil and evil is good.
And No longer can endure the word of righteousness,
Because through deceit they refuse to know God.

The apostle Peter warned believers to "Be sober. Be vigilant. Because your adversary, the devil, goes about as a roaring lion,seeking whom he may devour. Whom resist steadfast in the faith."

SCORNERS DELIGHT IN SCORNING AND FOOLS HATE THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD.
So they have what they have asked for: A REPROBATE MIND.
VOID OF UNDERSTANDING.
AN ADULTEROUS AND PERVERSE GENERATION.
RESERVED UNTO FIRE.

GROSS DARKNESS THAT CAN BE FELT.
MULTITUDES WORSHIPPING THE god OF THIS WORLD WHO HAS BLINDED THEIR EYES AND DARKENED THEIR HEARTS FROM THE GOSPEL OF LIGHT THAT SHINED UPON ALL MEN. THE GRACE OF GOD THAT BROUGHT SALVATION, APPEARING TO ALL MEN, REJECTED AND DESPISED BECAUSE THEIR DEEDS ARE EVIL. "depart from the holy commandment delivered unto them", back into perdition.

We must not become vain and careless, "building again the things that were destroyed". 

That is, providing for the lusts of things that defile a man, 

proceeding from a "deceitful heart that is desperately wicked".

Faith without works is dead. So we are to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.
What works? The works of God. The fruit of righteousness manifest in temples made without hands, in whom the Holy Spirit dwells. New creatures in Christ. Earthen vessels purged from an evil conscience by the sprinkling of the Blood.
BEHOLD the Lamb of God WHICH TAKETH AWAY THE SINS OF THE WHOLE WORLD!
TO AS MANY AS HAVE RECEIVED HIM, TO THEM GAVE HE THE POWER TO BECOME
THE SONS OF GOD.  NOT BY MIGHT, NOR BY POWER,

Born again by the Spirit of God. Love, joy, peace, patience, holiness, brotherly kindness, Why? Because the body is dead because of sin but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
The righteousness of God in Christ, in those who walk after the Spirit, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, "crucifying the deeds of the flesh" by taking up our cross daily, "making no provision to fulfil the lusts thereof". Why? To offer our bodies as a living sacrifice: holy and acceptable to God.
So we can come boldly before the throne of grace, without shame, and obtain help in time of need.

BUT BECAUSE THE HEART IS DECEITFUL AND DESPERATELY WICKED, MEN LOVE DARKNESS

TRUST NO ONE TO LEAD YOU TO "SALVATION", TO "ACCEPT CHRIST" BY YOUR "FREE WILL". NO ONE IS FREE BECAUSE ALL HAVE SINNED. THE MIND IS CARNAL. THE FLESH IS WEAK AND WARS AGAINST THE SPIRIT OF GOD. BECAUSE OF THIS:

PEOPLE LOVE DARKNESS AND HATE THE LIGHT OF GOD BECAUSE THEIR SINFUL DEEDS WHICH THEY LOVE ARE EXPOSED BY THE LIGHT OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST. THAT GOSPEL IS DESPISED AND REJECTED BY PASTORS, PRIESTS AND PROPHETS WHO SPEAK LIES THROUGH HYPOCRISY. "PEACE! PEACE!" But there is no peace.

THOSE WHO SEEK AFTER LYING VANITIES FORSAKE THEIR OWN MERCY.

THE GRACE OF GOD THAT BROUGHT SALVATION HAS BEEN CHANGED

INTO A LIE BY UNGODLY MEN AND WOMEN "HOLDING THE TRUTH IN UNRIGHTEOUSNESS", ORDAINED FOR THIS CONDEMNATION: "PROFESSING THEMSELVES TO BE WISE, THEY BECAME FOOLS"
