Has Christ Risen in Vain?

What a crock of hypocrisy to say the Lord loves the wicked and delights in them doing evil.because God is love and his mercy endures forever. The whole head is sick and the body mortally wounded full of putrefying sores.
What concord has Christ with Belial? What communion has light with darkness? O foolish hypocrites,, who has bewitched you to think the Lord God doesn’t see your iniquity and transgressions? Is the sacrifice made once for all of none effect? God forbid.
The righteous have not been called to repentance after they have been purged from all iniquity. Having been made kings and priests unto God by the washing of regeneration and the renewing of the mind by the Holy Ghost, let the redeemed of the Lord say so. I am not ashamed of the gospel for it is the power of God unto salvation from ungodliness and worldly lusts that destroy the soul. Flee fornication. Be sober and holy. Resist the devil and he will flee from you if so be the spirit of Christ dwells in you. If not, we are of all people, most miserable and Christ is risen in vain.

Have you received since you believed?

The gift of discernment is not operated by the fleshly outward appearance nor can it be turned on and off by the will to do so. It manifest light to the spiritual mind who can receive the things of God. As the apostle Peter found Simon the sorcerer and rebuked him with blindness, so we have examples of the acts of those called to be saints, executing the judgement written. That is, binding kings with chains and nobles with fetters of iron. Shining as a light in a dark place, revealing things that are hidden from the carnal minded. Now we see more clearly now that evil men and seducers have waxed worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. While the assemblies of the gods make merchandise of the people, speaking lies in hypocrisy. What worship is this that fornicators and adulterers can gather together praising the gods of silver and gold? Is it not iniquity? The whole head is sick, and the body full of purifying sores.

"But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled."

EKKLESIA 93

“And they all forsook him, and fled.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭14:50‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Were these the same disciples who had forsaken their nets to become fishers of men?
Surely not the ones who had healed the sick and cast out devils by the Name of their Master!
This same Jesus who had raised the dead, cleansed the lepers, and made the blind to see.
The Holy One had given his disciples authority even over unclean spirits. While the chief rulers and elders counseled together how they would kill Him. This fellow who said, "destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up". Jesus speaking of his own crucifixion., "for thus the scriptures must be fulfilled". After that, one of the twelve continually sought opportunity to betray Him. "A house divided against itself cannot stand."

"Could you not watch with me for one hour?" Gethsemane: the place of strong crying and tears.
The deep sleep upon the disciples whose spirits were willing but they had succumbed to the weakness of their flesh. For sorrow had filled their hearts.

“Now when the even was come, he sat down with the twelve. And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I? And he answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me. The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born. Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said. And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom. And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives. Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad. But after I am risen again, I will go before you into Galilee. Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended. Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples. Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder. And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy. Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour? Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done. And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy. And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me. And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people. Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast. And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him. And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus, and took him. And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear. Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be? In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me. But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.”

"judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.”

E K K L E S I A
message 52

THE PERPETUAL BACKSLIDING OF GENERATIONS OF DESOLATIONS,
WHITED SEPULCHES OF DECEIT BUILT ON LIES AND FALSEHOOD,
"TEACHING FOR DOCTRINE THE COMMANDMENTS OF MEN",
WHO DENY THE CHIEF CORNERSTONE, JESUS CHRIST,
"in Whom the fullness of the Godhead dwelleth bodily" (Col.2:9)

GOD in One Person: JESUS CHRIST IS LORD.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made
that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”
‭‭(John‬ ‭1:1-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬)

“For there are three that bear record in heaven,
the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”
‭‭(1 John‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬)

“For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen,
 being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead;
so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God,
neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,”
‭‭(Romans‬ ‭1:20-22‬ ‭KJV‬‬)

“For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die,
we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived,
that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
But why dost thou judge thy brother?
or why dost thou set at nought thy brother?
for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me,
and every tongue shall confess to God.
So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather,
that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.”
‭‭(Romans‬ ‭14:7-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬)

"For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft,
and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.
Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord,
he hath also rejected thee from being king.”
‭‭(1 Samuel‬ ‭15:23‬ ‭KJV)

"ALMOST PERSUADED"

"ALMOST PERSUADED"

ALMOST PERSUADED TO BE AN HYPOCRITE
BY PUFFED UP WORDS AND VAIN THEOLOGY OF DECEIT,
DOCTRINES OF DEVILS AND CUNNING FORMS OF RELIGIOUS PRETENSE.
Until the Light of the glorious gospel, in the face of Jesus Christ, shined upon me by the "washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit". The Good Shepherd brought me out of the miry clay of self righteousness, into His kingdom of Light, raising me up and out of the whited SEPULCHER
where I dwelled among the dead in trespasses and in sin.

“For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”
‭‭(Titus‬ ‭3:3-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬)

“I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord. Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.”
‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭40:1-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬)

“Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation. Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee. The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity. Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the Lord will abhor the bloody and deceitful man. But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple. Lead me, O Lord, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face. For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue. Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee. But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.”
‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭5:1-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬)

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭1:1-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

E K K L E S I A, message 6, "FULFILLED IN OBEDIENCE"

E K K L E S I A

"...How were thine eyes opened?
He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay,
and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me,
Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash:
and I went and washed, and I received sight."
(‭John‬ ‭9‬:‭9-11‬ KJV)

THE ANOINTING IS FULFILLED IN OBEDIENCE

The weapons of our warfare are not carnal
But mighty through God to the pulling down
of strong holds. Throwing down evil imaginations
and communications. Rooting out every thought that opposes
the Christ of God. "making no more provision for the flesh to fulfill the lust thereof"

and by faith and the power of God, "destroying the works of the devil"

The grace of God's anointing teaching us, who have been born again,
To endure temptation. (for the blessing is for those who sin not)
God's mercy in not allowing us to be tempted beyond what we are able
to endure, provides a way for the faint-hearted to escape before
"lust is conceived, bringing forth sin".

Through the furnace and the trials of our faith we come forth as gold,

"strengthened by the Inner Man, Christ in us.
"Wait on the Lord and he will strengthen your heart.
Wait, I say, on the Lord."

"For they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength.
They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint.
...mounting up with wings as eagles"

No more, to be taken captive by Satan at his will.

Studying and meditating on the word of God. Day and night.
Denying all ungodliness. Living sober and holy in the eyes of God.
