There is personal empowerment in enduring temptations and trials of faith. Resist the devil and he will flee from you if your garment is white and not spotted by the flesh. This is an incentive to go unto perfection and leaving the wretched man behind. How many souls have departed from the faith because of offense of the cross and the “foolishness” of prophesying. The naysayers say prophesyings have ceased along with speaking in new tongues and casting out devils. The Holy Spirit shall not always strive with men to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness to be filled with the Spirit. Jesus is the Baptizer of the Holy Ghost with signs following them that believe. The word confirming the testimony of Jesus in the spirit of prophecy.
