The carnal minded cannot receive this. Neither can they know it. Because it must be understood spiritually. But not from the spirit of this world which is corrupted through lusts, but the holy scripture inspired by God can only be received by as many as have received the Son and His righteousness, the abundant grace of God's salvation, shed abroad in our hearts by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the mind by the Holy Ghost. Therefore "we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."

The Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit of God, dwells in tabernacles of "earthen vessels".
Cast not away your confidence and hope you have in Jesus Christ. Be not afraid. The Lord is mighty to save.
