The Bible is ABHORRANT to them.
Every chapter, every verse, every line.
Who refuse correction and despise the chastening of the Lord.
They may have tasted the new wine but prefer UNCLEANNESS.
"the old is better" They say they know God,
But they lie and do not the truth.
Swept and garnished, some go to church,
Others simply are given over to a reprobate mind,
"their consciences seared as with a hot iron"
Briars and scorpions
hypocrites and "evil men crept in unawares"
Making "two fold more than yourselves
the children of hell"
The sins that remain don't seem to mind these people.
They have been taught by pernicious pastors. Lords over the flocks.
Since THEY cannot cease from sin, they presume nobody else can.
They presume their position is in Christ, that by grace they can sin.
Having a platform of godliness but rejecting the power of Christ:
His Holy Blood to cleanse from all unrighteousness.
