And people still debate whether or not one can lose their salvation!

Many decades ago, salvation was desired by people tired of sinning.
And being born again meant reckoning oneself dead indeed, to sin.
But hireling-pastors, trained in "hath God said?"serpent- theology,
Seeking to justify themselves rather than to deny themselves and take up their cross 
And follow Jesus. Having unclean hearts exercised by covetous practices, 
they sought the knowledge of evil and cunning men and DECEIVERS. 
Their god of this world is also their father. 
For they do the evil that they will, and they will the evil that they do. 
Presumptuous. Self-willed. LIARS.
"These be they that are sensual, having not the Spirit". 
Vain DECEIVERS. Hypocritical mockers who cannot cease from abominations. 

Woe to these idol shepherds who feed themselves! 
As greedy dogs, they never can have enough. Through excess and extortion, these conspire together among themselves, "because of advantage", make merchandise of the people deceived by departing from the sound doctrine in Jesus Christ, rather than searching the word to see for themselves, the love for the truth has been replaced by "smooth words and fair speeches", GOD HAVING GIVEN THEM OVER TO STRONG DELUSION THAT THEY MAY BELIEVE A LIE, because they are offended at the Blood of the New Testament shed for the forgiveness and remission of sin. The finished and perfect work of God made manifest in the New Creature born again by the will of the Holy Spirit of God. This is ABHORRANT to the sons and daughters of Belial. Lovers of pleasures and haters of holiness, without which no man shall see God. desiring to enlarge their salaries by unjust gain, following hard after way of Cain whose sacrifice was refused because iniquity was found in Cain to kill his brother who was righteous.

Now is apostasy. Some Departing from the faith. Others with cruel mockings, denying the Lord that bought them. Drawn back into perdition, these are as the dog returning to his own vomit and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire". 
These are reprobate silver. The Salt has lost its savor. Therefore, they are "Good for nothing."  And people still debate whether or not one can lose their salvation!

Take heed that no one deceives you. For many have followed after their pernicious ways, pulling down the cross and despising the sacrifice of New Testament Blood shed for the remission of sin.
