Exercise spiritual senses.

Ephesians 6:17 KJV

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Let as many who are good soldiers of Jesus, leave the milk of the word, ie, elementary teachings and principles of the doctrine of Christ, repentance, baptism and regeneration. And grow into the word of righteousness, ie strong meat, exercising the spiritual senses by contending for the faith once delivered to the saints who gave themselves continually, offering their bodies as living sacrifices to the LORD GOD. How? By denying ungodliness and worldly lusts. To live sober and holy in this adulterous and perverse generation. Why? Looking for the blessed hope, the appearing of the great GOD, our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST. Who washed us in his own blood, and purged us from all iniquity. Making us kings and priests unto the glory of the Father. That we should be perfect, zealous unto good works. Anointed daily with fresh oil. Having put on the new man, Christ Jesus the righteous.

Hebrews 5:12-14 KJV
For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. [13] For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. [14] But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Revelation 1:5-7 KJV
Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, [6] And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. [7] Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Titus 2:11-14 KJV
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, [12] Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; [13] Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; [14] Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
