Lord! Lord! Open up to us!
Depart from me, you workers of iniquity! I never knew you!
But Lord, didn’t we accept your Son as our personal savior?
I gave you strong delusion that you should believe a lie by your own free will.
Lest you be healed and converted while your sins remain.
But Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name and win many souls for Christ?
You worship you know not what as you cling to your idols and go after lying vanities. Your hands are filled with the blood of my servants whom I sent to you early every day warning you to repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. But you stiffened your neck as brass and turned your back instead of your face to me.
But Lord, are you not full of mercy and loving kindness?
You have despised my chastening and have refused correction. When I called, you did not answer. My Spirit does not always strive with sinners. I gave you space to repent, as I did Jezebel who seduced my servants and taught them to commit fornication. But your time is past. Now is the judgement of the quick and the dead.
